Lock My Computer is made for:
- Home and Family: Feel safe letting your kids loose on the web, knowing that they can't download or execute files, access settings or system areas and that the browser will close after the number of minutes you designate
Lock down your computer with password protection
- Hides start button, taskbar, desktop icons
- Disables windows key, CTRL+ALT+DEL and other key combos
- Disables media insert and system tray notifications
- Double click hot spot in upper left corner of screen to bring up password dialog for access to program functions
Allow users to browse the web in this locked environment with built-in browser
Run other software after lockdown
- Run from main menu or
- Pass path to 3rd party software in command line and it will be started after lockdown. Allows you to create shortcut that will run your software with Lock My Computer. You could place this shortcut in the Startup folder to run your software-- locked-- whenever Windows XP boots.
